Beyond Pharmacy: An Introduction.
Nov 18th
In August, I hopped onto a plane heading a thousand miles East knowing full well what I was getting into–pharmacy. But in the few months past, I’ve realized that it ain’t all about the Pharm.D around here. Oh no, there is much more to pharmacy school than just ”pharmacy school.”
I’ve discovered that the incessant hours I spend on my studies are actually punctuated with glints of real life! So to celebrate these rarities, I’ve reserved this little corner of my journal to immortalize the little things that make schooling away from home just a bit more spectacular.
(Ooh, an entry with pharmacy school in quotes? Check.)
I guess this is how it begins.

I hate writing. I hate how it takes me an hour just to pry an idea or feeling out of my stupid, convoluted brain; and I especially hate how it takes me yet another hour just to plop the idea down just the way I had imagined it. Still, I find myself here, 1:30 in the morning, hoping to begin a habit of squeezing whatever current thoughts, feelings, or random things that affect me into a semi-coherent reminder to my future self.
Yes, this is for myself.
Yes, this is public.
Why? Because when I am a decrepid old geezer, I want to remember who I was without having to remember my password or wonder where I left my stupid journal.
On the internet, everything is permanent. Well, at least I hope so.
Otherwise, this plan was doomed from the start.
Anyway, greetings. My name is Joe.
Ring a bell, you geezer?
